We believe that electrical safety testing should be made available to everyone, and we understand that the two major factors in this are cost and the worry of being charged for hidden extras such as call out charges and bills for additional labour. We are confident that our straightforward pricing structure will set your mind at ease. Please see our pricing structure here .
Each appliance is comprehensively tested to meet the exacting requirements of the IEE Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment. We use the latest computerised PAT testing equipment and are able to test all portable appliances in your workplace including IT equipment, microwaves, & 110V. The inspection and testing will be carried out by a fully qualified electrical testing engineer who has gained certification by City & Guilds Institute.
All electrical equipment to be tested has to be disconnected from the mains supply. During our visit we minimise any disruption by only disconnecting items as we test them. We realise the inconvenience that this can cause, especially in a busy environment, that is why we can provide out of hours service at no extra cost.
Reports and Certification.
On completion of the testing you will be issued with a safety certificate and a detailed report that provides information on each individual item tested. All items that pass the inspection & testing will be labelled with a safety sticker which includes a unique appliance number and retest date.
We can supply all your test results and appliance register to you on a CD-ROM instead of or in addition to hard copies of reports. Hard copies are produced as standard and sent from our Head Office following completion of testing. These reports include full Appliance Register, Fail Certificates ( if applicable ) and Pass Certificates, and bound into a folder for ease of reference. You will also recieve a covering Display Certificate which can be laminated if requested.
Repairs. ( if required )
Minor faults found during the course of the inspection can be repaired as we find them and the appliance re-tested. A list of repairs that we can carry out during the test can be found here. Obviously we are a specialist PAT Testing company and therefore it is not in our interest nor the clients to carry out major repairs to equipment that has failed the test or inspection. These faults will be highlighted on the fail certificate for the item.
